There has been a promotion on for Malaysia for the Independence year 2007, the promotion was 'Malaysia - My Second Home'. It was designed to draw people outside of Malaysia into the country this year. The promtoion started in January.

Sadly this seems a bit remiss when most people book their holidays a year in advance so the promotion should really have started in January 2006.

A shame because there will be a lot of people confused by this and so the whole promotion becomes a lesser attraction. Result - a lot of people missing out on a brilliant country <sigh> Shocked Confused Sad

actually martin... that programmes is a initiative to attract ... well those in their "golden age" to come and retire here... i mean ...for ever... hence the second home theme... it not actually in conjunction with the indepedence day.. .. martin are you interested in this???

... that is not the way it is coming over. The idea is very appealing and that has always been the plan. Trouble is retirement age is 65 here and without a lot of cash behind you it's difficult to take and earlier retirement...

The Proton range are you less expensive range being the home built car, is that right? Imports come a lot more expensive?
