Hi,

I am not malaysian, i lived in KL for about 2 years about 10 years back, living in taman tun. Anyway, my collage was in PJ, so was about 30 -45 minute by bus, no monorails or LRTs then. First day, took the bus home, can got down a bout 10 minute walk from my home. So was walking back . Unfortunately i took a wrong turn and then i remembered seeing a sign saying jalan sehala, so i was like ok i am on the right road and kept going . My house was somewhere near IBM building, and was heading towards 1utama!!!. Finally found a bus and got home. It was later that day i was following a sign that says ONE Way!!!!

Had the same problem with BEHERENTI (think that's the spelling). Gave a lot of people a good laugh for some while.. Embarassed

Once I went to the Kuantan bus station to buy a bus ticket for KL for the next morning. When I reached there, a man asked me where was I going, so I replied in English, "to Kuala Lumpur tomorrow"

As I queued up for the ticket he insisted I join another queue, just to humour him I did as told....then noticed the list of destinations but no KL so I went back to the other counter, bought my ticket.

I got a telling off by the man for not making up my mind whether to go to Temerloh or KL (although I can't speak Malay I can catch his drift). I was really upset for being told off as I hadn't a clue why he thought I wanted to go to Temerloh. It was only hours later before I realised he mistook my 'tomorrow' for Temerloh!
