But honestly, are there any quiet english towns left... Don't they all come with a tinge 'chicken tikka masalla' or the sounds of Asha Bosle from every house almost like she's the town friar??? |

..we have our own range of curry's here. No real English towns left as you say but many. many villages although a lot of these have Take Away Chinese or Indian's in them. Now we have Russian, Lithuanian, Greek, Italian, Portugese, French, German, Thia, Malaysian, Jamaican, Vietnamese and many, many more types of restaurant plus the good old English Fish & Chip shops... oh to be cosmopolitan... _________________ Cheers,

Well, he can't go to Bath! He'll be running around with hardly a stitch on his back! Stratford-upon-Avon is out, so are Cambridge and Oxford!! He's definitely not the intellectual type...! U think the Lochness Monster would mate with a Zultypus??? Or maybe they can put him to good use holding up the slabs at Stonehenge??? _________________ CIKGU ARTHUR

...Snowdonia is out... can't upset the sheep... the Highlands are out.. same sheep problem plust cattle.... the Peak District again more sheep, Norfolk is pig worrying and turkey's. There are a host of towns with preservation orders so Zul, as a walking disaster, won't be allowed near them... can you swim Zul? Looks like the Isle of Wight, Isle of Man or Isle of Mull for you... _________________ Cheers,

When I was a kid I dreamt of living in UK or Canada, but after having been to a number of countries and lived in the various towns in Malaysia, I still feel more comfortable in Sarawak.
Yesss, I would like to eventually return to Sarawak, got my husband to buy me a house there...ahhhh...nowhere like home. |

Well Arthur, for most knowledge comes with age, while a few acquire the knowledge to make the aged feel relevant....
