martin is it true that central Europe is actually facing lack of people living in those areas? it happened before in Malaysia when all the young people would leave the villages and work in the cities leaving only old folks to tend to the villages.

back to the question it would be Siberia for me because i just love the isolation and the open space.

The Eastern Bloc countries suchn as Poland, Rumania, etc., are suffering a lack of skilled workers. With the opening of the EU borders as these countries join means that they can work wherever they like in the EU, because there is a shortage of skilled, manual labour in other parts of the Eu they migrate as the salaries are much higher.
