Mubarak! Blood bath?!!! No wonder the blood banks are in dire need of supplies....
Which is why here, the new campaign is...u donate blood and they give u one pack/guni of rice in return! Blood for Rice...Barter trade? Hehehe...call it what u will, but it's definitely "attractive" dontcha think? Win-Win situation...
Speaking of blood donations, I've always wanted to donate but never got around to doing it because those HUGE needles they use - freaks me out!!! _________________ Perfect Imperfections

no need to worry mubarak? you gotta be kiddin'
and mar... Rice for Blood? definitely a good incentive especially with the price of rice nowadays... just yesterday I took my parents grocery shopping and the rice that we used to but for max at 20ringgit is now 40ringgit! luckily the other brand that we ate was 30ringgit... that too is pretty steep...
so I guess it is a good deal lah rice for blood... _________________ Happy, Healthy & Bubbly |

can't imagine the price of banana leaf rice now that the price of rice for 10KGs is RM30 at the cheapest!
There goes our Banana Leaf outings with Pat! *sob* *sob* _________________ I Love MAG...! |

Well, it's not worth it if they charge you 15 ringgit for BLR... and you can only eat like maybe 1/100th of the 10KG bag of rice!
Cuz that's probably what will happen since the price of rice has gone up to double the price it used to be! From RM20 to RM40... is a big jump! So restaurants that do serve BLR would probably increase it by nearly double too! So from 6-7 ringgit per BLR, it would probably be anywhere between 12-14 per BLR!
Not worth it anymore! _________________ I Love MAG...! |

I like donating blood! I love to watch the blood being drawn out of the body to the blood bag.. LOL and it feels good to know that I'll be helping someone - may save a life or two with that pint of blood... unfortunately though, I can't donate blood at the moment due to my high BP level.. sheeshh!
Mar, give it a shot ... be brave ... you can do it! |
