Dear All

As we go on with our daily lives.. sometimes we sometimes forget the need of the less fortunate.. most of us are blessed with a charmed life.. with family we love.. with our dearest friends..

less we forgot there are those living in this world without their family.. and sometime without enough food, or with a roof on their head..

realizing this mandy me has came up with an idea to do something to give back to the society.. the problem is we dont know what to do. Volunteering is one of the thing we might do.. we aslo considering doing a fund raising or perhaps a joytrip for the orphanage.

this is truly a non profit, honest to goodness project of us. Apparently mandy and I has the same urge in our soul to do something to help the less fortunate. So we invite you all the cast and crew of the show to suggest any idea that both mandy and I can do in order to fulfill our dream. You also can be part of this small project of us... the more the merrier..

so put the thinking hat on and lets together be part of the caring society..

your sincerely

zul and mandy

Great idea but you need to organise yourselves. What you don't say is how localised or encompassing this project will be. Is it to cover your local towns or the whole of Malaysia? Are you thinking of creating fund raising events on a nationwide scale or again just localised?

All of this means work and before you start you need a project plan, covering scale, targets, possible means, etc. I can offer you many suggestions but first you need to scope this thing. Work out who you are really trying to target to help, you need to be more specific.

Having selected the group or orgnisation you want to help you can start on the two-way process. The first thing you nedd to do is find out what they want. There is no point organising something that nobody wants and the whole thing goes bad. Once you have isolated a group to help and pinpoint what you are going to do then you can work out what funding is required. This will then focus on your fuind raising and timescales.

Thank you so much for the feedback and input.

For me, actually I prefer to do in a very small scale and not too much involve in raising funds.
My initial idea actually is to visit the old folks or orphanage, pack some goodies bag and give it to them.
Play with them, do some cleaning and etc etc. We definitely need some contributions from outsider so we could buy the stuff for the goodies bag.

So let give something back to the society….hopefully we can kick off something 1st.

As teachers we are very fortunate to be involve directly with the youth of our future. The best gift to give is the gift of knowledge and awareness. Youth nowdays are constantly trying out new things without realising the consequences it could have in their life and of course the society at large. Save a soul and save the world. But like Madonna use to say - first love yourself then you can love someone else, then you can change someone else then you can save someone else, but you must first - Love Yourself!

In case Arthur is still stuck in the times of Baden Powell, founder of scout's movement, pls be informed that girls have been accepted as scouts since 30 yrs ago. So get that mental pic of boy scouts running around outta ur head.. unless u too have been to neverland? Twisted Evil

Hahha...and all because I quote Madonna..Arthur always have that dream which include Michael Jackson talking in high pitch voice and telling everyone, I'm innocent. Yup the voice is so weird you be forgiven to think that he's wearing underwear two size to small. Pam..I am also a scout teacher...let's bring Arthur camping and see if he can survive the great outdoor...
