Papaya seeds have a peppery flavor and are edible on thier own. Usually they're eaten in a dressing, as i've made here. This simple papaya seed dressing turns any pasta dish into a gourmet delight.
Ingredient:
bow-tie pasta or anykind u prefer
bell pepper ( any colour u want at least two colour) cut into thin strips
roasted chicken breast , cut into long strips
Papaya-seed dressing
2 tbsp papaya seed
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 tbsp chives, minced
1/2 cups fresh squeexed orange juice
2 tbsp olive oil ( can use peanut oil or corn oil)
1 tbsp cider vinegar or balsamic vinegar
salt to taste
Method:
Combine all the dressing ingredients and put in a sealed container. Fridge for 30 min or so
Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water to prevent sticking. Place pasta and bell pepper in a serving bowl. Mix thoroughly with dressing . Toss in chicken. Season with salt and pepper if needed. |
