When you talk to kids here nowadays it is no wonder that the English language is suffering. Strange lines came out of the Olympics 'medalling' and 'podiuming' for receiving medals... I always thought meddling was messing around with things:roll: _________________ Cheers,

If my students use those words, they'll certainly get a red cross...
Me!
I got to know some nice people in Facebook and i'm amazed because few of them use short form in writing... even 'you' is spelt out instead of 'u'. Haha.. the catch is most of them are over 30 and from England, Greece, Italy but some are Canadians and Americans as well. _________________ Yours Truly,

The shortform text is actually pretty bad. Abbreviations can mean more than one thing, if a word is pelt differently then you know it means something different, then again with the English langauage the same word can mean several different things... oh my God... brainstorm... _________________ Cheers,

You cant stop the birth of a new language that is the text (SMS) lingua. It is amazing that short form of a word is now becoming much accepted form of writing that everyone seems to know what its mean!... Crazy... next they will teach that in school!... kinda think of it ...it is very efficient _________________ One of the bujang lapok's (you sure) |
