Happy Ramadhan to all...

Its thats time of the year when muslims all over fast for a month.. and yes yours truly is doing just that..

Fasting is a very personal time for me. I love what ramadhen signify. Fasting is a way to feel hunger as how others less fortunate is feeling right now. It is humbling... It is very spritual..

and the oxymoronic thing is the buka puasa time when you are presented a HUGE array of food to buka puasa with...CRAZY... Marty...if you are here during ramadan i tell you..... 5 KG in a month!

... funny enough I have been there several times at this time of year and have watched fasting... and the after effect, the breaking of fast.... I was amazed siting in various hotels and watching as the restaurant filled up and everybody sat there waiting and then woosh... the time was reached and it was like a swarm of locust... they pounced on the buffet and it was no more.... then within an hour eveyrbody had gone home and I was Billy No Mates...... They come, ate and leave...... (hmm a panda joke come to my mind)

but most of them are hurrying for prayers i think... it is customary to go to the mosque after the buka

yeah.... this ramadan is almost like a month of redemption... all muslims tends to be more pious and closer to God in this month... the "pahala" gain this month quadruple in value...
