Well folks I ummed and arrrdd for several months whether to take out a three year golf membership or just renew as usual. In December I decided to take the 3-year option which would save me a lot of money rather than renewing each year, so I paid the equivalent of RM11,000. Guess what? My dad rings me on Onday night and says "Have you seen the news" I said "No" and he said "Well your golf club just burned down!"
Now that is what I call bad luck!!!!
The following night Marie dashes in and says we have water flowing through the bathroom ceiling so I clambered into the eaves of the house to find a leak at the narrowest point. Being of a larger nature I found myself being compressed between pieces of wood but eventually managed to get a container in place to catch the water COMING THROUGH THE ROOF!!!
Okay so now I am awaiting the third disaster of the week..... _________________ Cheers,

its better then get human plasma and blood burst to ur face without knowing the status of the donor (without knowing whether the donor is HIV or hepatitis (B&C) or syphilis positive),
and u have to wait for two days from transfusion microbiology lab for the result of the donor...
that is a really nightmare for medical lab technologist... _________________ happy-go-lucky

I had to laugh about the golf club when I heard the final story! Apparently they had just completed the last phase of refitting the clubhouse and it had started to look really grand. What better they thought than to have one final bonfire so they started burning the remnants of the refit. They threw the old carpet onto the fire which suddenly flared up and set light to one of the golf carts which in turn set light to the next one until all six were alight and exploding which then set fire to the clubhouse where the gas cylinders were which in turn exploded. The fire brigade had been called during this occurrence and took 15 minutes to get there only to find, middle of the countryside, no water! So a water tender had to be called which took another 30 minutes to arrive in which time the club house was well ablaze. In the end 40 appliances attended from different counties!
They opened the next day at 7am using the marquee which was still intact! My locker was still whole but my Panama had was destroyed by smoke and water!!!!! _________________ Cheers,

Damn... when shit happens, shit really happens!
Tough luck, Marty. I'm keeping my fingers crossed hoping that there will be no 3rd disaster waiting to hit you. |

He can't quiet evade a third disaster... He's coming here (to Malaysia) and I'm here waiting... that's disaster enough, in Martin's books... |
