Cash just texted me a short while ago to let me know about the text that Arthur had sent him, offering his help with some of Cash's burden. If you guys go back on this thread, you will see that Pam too had generously offered her assistance to Cash, which he had received gratefully. He hasn't been online for over a month now and so he hasn't seen all the messages that you guys posted. In time he will, and trust me, he's gonna be crying buckets when he sees what a beautiful family he's become a part of. I salute you guys for all the beauty that you've brought forward in the open. I too am blessed to be part of this family.

I wrote a lil sumn-sumn about this in my blog. Tho I'm sad for Cash, props had to be given to Pam who had come through for him at a time when he needed it the most. So once again, on behalf of Cash and me, thank you for all the show of love. You guys rock!!! Razz

Thanks to you, Zee, we're able to give our help. Being a gentle soul, Cash would not ask for help openly or accept our financial assistance. This can be proven by his asking you whether he should accept Arthur's generous offer. He cried and thanked me over and over even before he received the love gift. And you did the right thing by telling him to take it. Thank you for being by Cash's side when he needed you. You're an awesome sista! Zee, you rock!!! Very Happy

p/s: Thanks for the tribute in your blog. By telling the story, you've helped Cash lighten his financial burden.

Well, after I posted that story in my blog, a few of my friends called me saying that they feel for Cash and asked how they can help him. This really blew my mind coz those friends of mine don't even know Cash but yet, they were willing to help.

You're right, Pam, about Cash being a gentle soul. The first time I told him about your offer of help, I told you that he cried. Then when he got Arthur's message, he called me and cried again. He was so touched by all your kind and generous offers, but at the same time, he was also torn about receiving the help that was generously being offered to him. If you guys know Cash the way I know him, you'd know that this hasn't been easy for him. So once again, thank you all for all that you've done for Cash.

Will chip in to help out a little...and in Christian teachings: "Whatever you do for the least of your brothers, you do unto Me!" This being the season of Lent, I could do with a little bit of sacrifice...
