The Backstreet Boys comprising of Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell and AJ McLean. It''s hard to believe that 15 years have passed since Backstreet Boys redefined the modern musical landscape, ushering in a chapter of pop culture that commandeered the worlds radio airwaves, broke music and concert sales records, and launched a new generation of teen idols for millions of youth.

In all, the group has sold more than 75 million albums worldwide. Their first two U.S. releases both received the Diamond Award for sales of more than 10 million: "Backstreet Boys" in 1997 and quintessential "Millennium" in 1999, which reached No. 1 in 25 countries. They have scored a dozen top 40 hits, including top 5 smashes "Quit Playing Games (with My Heart)," "As Long As You Love Me,"Everybody (Backstreet's Back)" and "All I Have To Give".

The group spent a year and a half recording "Unbreakable," which marks a confident return to the pop template that best defines the group's sound.

While it would be clever enough to declare that "Backstreet's Back" - hearkening the title of their hit song - the truth is they never went away. Over the course of 15 years, they maintain rare relevance in an industry that so often disposes of pop acts with ultimate haste.

BSB's back and I'm on Cloud 9! Cant wait to go check out the concert! Anyone going? Sunway Surf Beach on the 27th Feb... They're back to rock KL!!! Razz

ya laaahh all this formerly big name singers... when they was on top...never want to come to malaysia...BSB is the prime example... they sang in sungai wang.. when they just a small band..

But when they are big name... Malaysia will never been a tour stop for them. I salute black eyed peas.. they come to Malaysia no matter what.

whatever it is.. welcome BSB! if you see a lil girl jumping around hysterically in front of you.. it could be mag LOL

Next month has nothing to do with it, laaaaa.

Its just that every time the topic of BSB pops-up, there's either a grin of glee or a frown that could vaporize oxygen on you; depending on what you're saying.

So, go and have fun; just don't throw your bra on to the stage.... you might reduce the backstreet boys to a trio.....

guys all I can say is that the concert was AWESOME... haven't had enough time to actually write about it but it was WOW!

the guys still got it goin' on! they might have put on a lil, but they can still move to the groove and sing like they did back then! and what's even cooler is the fact that they can still make their fans go wild!

I guess all their fans probably grew up with the guys too, cuz most of them knew all the songs regardless of which album its taken from! Razz

except the really new ones which you probably would not have heard any airplay as yet. Razz

but being in the crowd, you can tell who are their loyal fans and who are new... the loyal ones know all their songs... the new ones only know "Inconsolable" and "Helpless When She Smiles" hahahaha Razz

but alls good as that widens their fan base.

it's been a really long time since I went for a concert and really had a good time... ahhh... remember back when I was in school when I used to run to Sg Wang to catch all these artist on their promo tours and its all FOC. so cool! and I'd be early there but there'd still be ppl earlier than me... and I'd wiggle in all the way till I get to the front! now I've mastered that technique! Twisted Evil

as for Zul... you might think that the BEP concert was a great concert cuz you got to see Fergie and Wil.I.Am perform solo stuff too... well, we had the BSB, Aj Mclean with his solo, Howie D with his solo, Nick Carter with his solo and last but not least Brian Littrel with his solo too! so what say you now? Razz
