I can cook... Not to confuse with the statement "I am a good cook".. the difference?. Well the second statement signify you can whip up a fabulous lobster bisque as the starter, followed by several round of courses which ends with a to-die-for soufflés.
I am with the "I can cook" crowd.. this statement mean that you can whip up something edible, sometime tasty, but not a dish that are on the menu anywhere!.
When ever I open my fridge and i saw a couple of stuff i can jumble up into a dish, I will do exactly that.
Yesterday i did i a simple dish I simply call wholewheat Spaghetti with Sauteed Shittake Mushroom. I saw that i had a pack of shitake mushroom, three pcs of hotdogs and garlic and onions... i chopped all of the stuff.. add the dash of parika, cayenn papper and oregano, with a splash of olive oil..fried evertying and voila... healthy eating LOL _________________ One of the bujang lapok's (you sure) |

ahhhhhh.... SPAGHETTI... how I long for thee!
See, when MAG and I got married... almost every other day, I'd go... so how about spaghetti... and she'd go...
"AGAIN... how about we eat out today?" hahahaa
Thats one dish I feel I've mastered thanks to my mum-in-law!
And PAM's right... for a guy like you Zul... being able to whip up something just by seeing what's in your fridge is amazing! - So, take yourself out from the "I CAN COOK" category to the "I CAN COOK WHATS IN MY FRIDGE" category! hahahaha _________________ I Love MAG...! |

I second that Mar! yeah, he's been learning from my mum... that's the only way he can get home cooked food if we don't go back to my mums place... you either cook or we eat out! hahaha unfortunately for my hubby, I can cook if I wanted to... but I don't! just not my thing lah... but he's sweet enough to understand that, so I'm lucky _________________ Happy, Healthy & Bubbly |

I always say that!!! that's cuz I LUUURVVEEE the Italians, their food, the country, and the ppl...
but Italians do have more than spaghetti you know... they've got pizzas, lasagnas, risottos, and many kinds of pasta plus many more!!! so how did you get to the fact that they only eat spaghetti???? _________________ Happy, Healthy & Bubbly |
