Bit worried about giving too much detail due to the number of Scams around so be careful when posting your details under this thread.

I am Martin Edwards and I live in Bedford, United Kingdom. Born in 1952 and remained single for 50 years before meeting Pat's sister Marie in Ipoh in 2000. We married there in 2002. My job description is 'General Manager (GM)' of a small company within a larger group of 5 companies. I have worked with computers since 1968. For 30 years I played rugby for a local club and suffered a variety of injuries that plague me now. I now play golf ('flog' backwards) and play most Sundays although this weekend I am playing in two competitions one Saturday and one Sunday.

My hobbies include genealogy, history, and web sites of which I have around 22. Have two cats who are sisters and are about 15 years old. I am a Leo and a Water Dragon (I think). Have lived since 2002 in the house I bought which was great for me as a single man and just about holds the two of us. I drive a Ford Focus currently, keeps the tax down and doesn't guzzle petrol which is now £1.08p here (ouch)...

I am diabetic and suffer from allergy problems which preclude me from eating lots of things I would like so my food tastes are kept to a simple form my preference being 'bangers and mash' or 'cottage pie' or a Roast Dinner.

I have to local pubs here in the UK manily because my friends are split between them. Due to the diabetes I drink Becks Beir, bottled not draught and smoke Hanlet cigars which are damn difficult to get hold of in Malaysia as Pat will tell you Laughing

I don't have a favourite band, singer or even type of music - when I hear something I like then I like it which allows me full breadth of variety from classical to punk rock to grunge.

My favourite country is Malaysia (although I have only been to West Malaysia and have only really covered the western side of that) but then that goes without saying. I have been to places like Cyprus, France, Austria, etc., and obviously Singapore also the USA (5 times now) the best trip being to play rugby in Memphis. Not a fan of Americans in general but know some really nice ones.
