hellooo all

sory for the long silence...started class and you know lah...books lol

anywho did anyone watch obama inaugeration las nite (morning..) i did and yes I watched almost for 8 hours of the festivities... and I am so proud of how Obama single handedly units all the Americans and the rest of the world. Imagine some of the people started to gather up at the National Mall from 3 am and its -7'c there! woooooooo

So any comments on President Obama? Are we having to much high hopes on him?

He's started well but only time will tell. Three months in will be an indicator of some sort.... incidentally does anybody want a well worn, crap prime minister - come in only one colour BROWN - Gordon BROWN to be exact Exclamation

and we watch bits of the inaugeration or at least myself lah... I fell off to sleep after he walked out onto the podium. Wink

my hubby managed to watch the whole process Wink

but the only thing in my mind when he walked up to the podium was a flash back to a little boy... imagining that someday he will be president! and it came true! Wink

how nice dont you think... I mean every American kid grows up dreaming that they will be president... black, white, brown, orange, every colour... and yesterday a little black boys dream came true! Wink

Ya...didn't like him being referred to as the 1st Black American president or even African American president. If things HAVE changed, he would just be the 44th president of the US - everybody should be able to see through colour or creed!!!...Whatever it is, he's up there now and he's got a job to do and he'd better do it well or he'll be out pretty soon...and it will all be back to square one!!!
